Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has responded to a report alleging that a helicopter dropped hundreds of unidentified people on a hilltop Enugu State, southeastern region of Nigeria.

In a video that has gone viral, a lady said she saw a helicopter drop men suspected to be armed Fulani terrorists on top of Ugwu-ajali hill, saying she fled the scene.

Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, a president of Ohanaeze Youth Council called the report false and urged locals to ignore the trending video.

According to him, nothing of such occured in the area.

In a statement on Saturday, Nnabuike said no helicopter goes to the hill apart from Nigerian Air Force training chopper.

The video is fake, said the OYC president.

Meanwhile, Enugu State Police Command also described the report as mischievous.
