Kanu speaks from DSS custody, say 'Biafra must be restored'

Nnamdi Kanu

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has insisted on the need to achieve an independent state of Biafra, urging his supporters to remain resolute.

The detained IPOB chief spoke on Monday when his younger brother Prince Emmanuel Okwu-Kanu visited him at the Department of State Services (DSS) facility in Abuja.

According to Emmanuel, Nnamdi Kanu has remained strong despite being incarcerated by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

In the message on Monday the IPOB leader said; “be sure to overcome all the challenges and bring out your inner strength. Push yourself to be a better and stronger version of yourself tomorrow.”

Prince Emmanuel also quoted him as saying that Biafra “must be restored” soon.
