Ortom rename road leading to Ayu's house after Wike

The G-5 (Wike, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Seyi Makinde, Okezie Ikpeazu, and Ortom)

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has renamed the road leading to the house of Senator Iyioricha Ayu who is the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.

This is amid the crisis in the PDP where the G-5 — Wike, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Seyi Makinde, Okezie Ikpeazu, and Ortom are demanding the removal of the PDP national chairman Ayu.

During the commissioning of project in Benue by the G-5 on Monday, Ortom named the 2.1km Township Road he constructed “Nyesom Nwike Road”.

The governors also commissioned and named other roads in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State.

Wike who spoke at the road commissioning said Ortom have made life easier for Benue people.

He said the Benue State governor has fulfilled his promises by making available roads and other needs of the people.
