The Nigerian Air Force is part of the Nigerian Military which is in charge of protecting the Nigerian territory through Air Defence. They work together with the Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Army. Nigerian Air Force Salary 2024 And Ranks which some people refer to as NAF Salary, Allowances And Ranks is what we will be discussing in this article. The Nigerian Air Force is one of the Force which made up the Armed forces of Nigeria. The Nigerian Air Force Salary is one of the highest salary among other Forces which made up the Armed forces of Nigeria.
The Nigerian Air Force Salary is divided into two categories. The same way the Nigerian Army Salary and the Nigerian Navy Salary are divided into two. The commissioned officers and the Non Commissioned officers. Their salary is also divided into two categories just the same way The Nigerian Navy Salary is divided. The Commissioned officers’ salary and the Non Commissioned officers’ salary. Note that their salary is paid according to the rank they possess.
The commissioned officers are paid more than the Non Commissioned officers. The commissioned officers are those who went to the Nigerian Defence Academy and Spend the period of 5 years doing both academic and military training and they always pass out with the rank of pilot officer or those who joined the Nigerian Air Force As A Graduate, it is also called the Nigerian Air Force DSSC. They also pass out to become officers in the Nigerian Air Force.

The Non Commissioned officers are those who spend a minimum of 6 months doing the Nigerian Air Force basic training. They joined the Nigerian Air Force using SSCE certificate and they always pass out with the rank of Aircraft Man. Note that the Non Commissioned officers training are in two categories, the Nontradesmen, and the tradesman.
Nigerian Air Force Tradesmen
The Tradesman are those that joined the recruitment using trade certificate. This simply means that they already have work they do as a civilian before joining the Nigerian Air Force. They only need to provide their trade test before they can be accepted as tradesmen. They always pass out with the rank of Lance Corporal or corporal. - Flight Sergeant earns N96,896 monthly
- Warrant Officer is paid N120,985 monthly
- Master Warrant Officer collects N185,285
- Cadet (Trainee) is paid N44,047 monthly
- Air Warrant Officer salary is N191,098 monthly

The Nigerian Air Force has a variety of Allowances which is paid to their men, Both Commissioned and the Non commissioned Officers. The Allowances sometimes depends on the Location or the department you are deployed in the Nigerian Air Force. Those who are deployed a the Nigerian Air Force Regiment are said to get much allowance than those who are just in the Base. Those that are in the NAF regiment are also known as special forces. Not Only recruits, even the cadets who are training to become a Commissioned officer is also paid training allowance in the Nigerian Air Force or those who are in the Nigerian Defence Academy. Nigerian Air Force Training Allowances 2024
- Recruits are paid about N10,000 – 12,000 monthly.
- Short Service Cadets are Paid about 15,000 – 20,000 Monthly.
- Air Force Regular Cadets are Paid about 25,000 – 30,000 monthly.
