Nigerian Police Academy 9RC Form 2024/2025 – Apply Now

The Nigerian Police force have started applications for the Nigerian Police Academy 9rc which also means 9 Regular course. All the interested applicants can now apply for admission into the Nigerian Police Academy (Polac)

Previously we wrote an article on how to join the Nigerian Police academy for novice who are just applying for the first time for easy understanding on the process of the application.

Meanwhile in this post, we will still walk you through on how to apply for the Nigerian Police 9RC 2024/2025.

Please note that before you can apply for the Nigerian Police Academy 9rc, you need to have completed your secondary School education and posses SSCE or Equivalent. Also note that this admission is not for graduates, if you are already a graduate, you can read on how to join the Nigerian Police as a graduate.

Now, let’s go down on how to apply for the Nigerian Police Academy 9RC but before you apply, it’s important you know all the courses available in the Nigerian Police Academy.

Nigerian Police Academy 9RC Admission requirements

The most important requirement is that

  • You must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
  • You must also be between the ages of 17 and 22 years old.
  • You must have at least five credits in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, including mathematics and English.
  • You must also be physically and mentally fit,
  • You must not have any criminal record.
  • The list of successful candidates will be published on our website and in some national newspapers

How To Apply For The Nigerian Police 9RC 2024/2025

The application involves several steps. First, you will need to fill an application form by visiting the Nigerian Police Academy Application Portal www.polac.edu.ng to obtain or generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code. The RRR code obtained can be used to make payment of about N3,000.00 through any commercial Bank Branch in Nigeria and submit it online. Next, you’ll need to take the admission written test. If you pass, you’ll be invited for an interview with the academy’s board.

Please note that only candidates who obtained the minimum UTME scores which are to be determined by JAMB and purchased the Academy online application form; will only be eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination at due time and you must select The Nigerian Police Academy Polac as your first choice.

Once you are shortlisted, below is what you are expected to go along with

  • Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government recognized Medical Hospital
  • Evidence of Good character from Village/District Head of the applicant.
  • Indigene certificate signed by Local Government Chairman or Secretary
  • National Identity Number (NIN) Slip
  • Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age Including your jamb result print out
  • Printout of application form
  • Duly completed Guarantor’s form
  • Invitation slip
Any candidate who fails to present items mentioned above, may not be considered for screening.
Applicants are equally advised to pay attention to details and specific guidelines on the screening exercise. Meanwhile, the Commandant has assured that the Statutory Entry Requirements into the Force as clearly stated in the Police Act and Regulations, would be followed to the letter. He noted that officials deployed for the exercise have been directed to ensure that all applicants shortlisted are allowed to participate and to recommend their suitability or otherwise in the spirit of transparency, accountability and fair hearing using the already established benchmarks as contained in the Act. The Commandant also said that the screening exercise is absolutely free of charge, advised applicants to be wary of criminal elements who may want to take advantage of the exercise to scam. He however warned that anyone found wanting will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
