Ranks in the Nigerian Air Force And Their Salaries 2024. The ranks in the Nigerian Air Force is the Same as the Ranks in the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Army. Since these three branches of the Nigerian military work together, they made their ranks equivalent to each other.
The Ranks in the Nigerian Air Force are also divided into two different categories.
The Commissioned Officers and The Nine Commissioned Officers.
The Commissioned Officers are those Officers who joined the Nigerian Air Force as a graduate or those who joined the Nigerian Air Force through the Nigerian Defence Academy
Those who joined the Nigerian Air For through the Nigerian Defence Academy spend a period of 5 Years before they are Commissioned into the Nigerian Air Force. Those who joined the Nigerian Air Force as a graduate spends either six months. The Nigerian Air Force DSSC means Direct Short Service Commission. Before you can be able to join Nigerian Air Force DSSC, You must be a Graduate. This means you must Posses HND or BSC.
The Non-Commissioned Officers are those Officers who joined the Nigerian Air Force Recruitment with SSCE. They spend six months in their training before they become a Soldier In the Nigerian Air Force.
